Welcome to Bali Arrival
We started our service because we know that the first 12 hours in a new place are the hardest.
How do I get out of the airport without getting ripped off?
How can I get where I want to go?
How can I find my hotel?
How can I get ahold of my family and friends at home to let them know I’m OK? (Or, as is likely the case in Bali, that you’ve arrived and love the place and never want to leave!)
Let us take care of all these small things so you can do what you came to Bali to do: Relax.
I’ve traveled all over the world, and arriving at a strange airport in a strange country is my least favorite part about travel. Wading through con-men chanting, “Taxi!?” Figuring out how to get money from a machine or a unsavory money changer. Getting a visa and through customs.
Lately, in our over-connected world, trying to figure out how to get a mobile phone working and especially wading through the complexity of a data plan have been additional anxieties.
So look through our site and take advantage of our
But it doesn’t have to be hard. Let us help you do it. You’ll see on our site information about arriving at the Bali airport. If you book an arrival package, you’ll also receive an arrival package with instructions on how to get from your plane to our taxi service.
We have been in the travel business for over ten years. Let us help you: you won’t be disappointed.

And now this? Three hundred men shouting “Hello TAXI?” ”Taxi Boss?” ”Where go, TAXI?”
Everyone is friendly enough but they are a bit persistent, and the prices they quote are at least double or triple what they should be. It’s a terrible first experience in Bali, as most people here are kind and gentlehearted. But money talks at the airport.
That’s where we come in. When you walk out of customs, you’ll be greeted by a kind driver holding a sign with your name on it.
Walk up, shake hands, exchange the magic password (we can’t have someone else taking your ride, can we?), and off you go, to whatever destination you’ve chosen.
And what else could you possibly want when you arrive? Want to stop and check your email? No problem, we know a spot you can stop for 30 minutes.
Hungry? We know a place and can stop on the way, No Problem
Need your cell phone setup to work in Bali? No problem!
Want a cold drink waiting for you in the car? No problem!
With Bali Arrival, it’s all, “No Problem.”
Like anything in the world, sometimes a problem comes up, but hey, for you at least, that’s No Problem. We’ll help you sort it out.
We also offer other services like car rental, motorbike rental, and driving tours. Just ask!
Salamat Datang di Bali (Welcome to Bali), island of the Gods.
We hope we can make your experience here the best!

It’s a connected world we live in. Facebook. Twitter. Email. But hey, you’re on vacation and maybe you want to shut all that out.
Want your phone to work the moment you arrive? No problem, just sign up for our SIM arrival service as part of your taxi pickup.
When you arrive, you will have in your hand an activated SIM with rp50,000 credit. Just stick it into your phone, and you’re ready to go.
We also include instructions in English for using the phone system.
These instructions include information on: Calling and SMS costs, international SMS costs, special codes for cheap international VOIP calls (as cheap as $.01/min to Canada, $.10/min to Australia), and available SMS and other packages. The pamphlet alone will save you the price of the SIM card.
Requirement: an unlocked GSM cell phone
Don’t have a cell phone? No problem, you can buy one from us, starting at $50. It’s usable worldwide, not just in Bali, so you’ll have a “travel phone” forever.
But not having a phone? Maybe that’s not the best thing.
Indonesia has about five mobile carriers. Each have different plans, different rates, and different ways of activating and using their services. And, unfortunately, almost none of it is in English.
So let us help you get your mobile plan rolling. We’ll do all the hard work, just bring your unlocked mobile phone, or we can provide one for you:
Phone usage is very inexpensive in Indonesia. Using a local SIM can save you hundreds of dollars compared to using your phone from home, with the outrageous “international roaming fees.”
Calls to the US and Europe can be had for less than $.10/minute.
Unlimited local SMS costs less than $5 per month.
Data is also very inexpensive, although the speed varies greatly depending on where you are. Coverage in Bali is quite good but can get overloaded if you’re, say, on the beach. The plans usually have a bandwidth limit of 500mb up to 2gb.
International SMS isn’t terribly cheap but is still a good value.
Do you seriously need to keep in touch with back home? We can also setup a service so people can call a local number in your country and have it forwarded to your phone in Indonesia.
In fact, for only $50 you can buy a simple phone to use, and then you can have both!
Phones are a complicated thing, but at Bali Arrival, we work closely with people who understand the ins and outs of the always changing Indonesian mobile phone system.
